ABOUT OUR EXECUTIVE CHEF + CEO

My name is Darian Brown I am a Prince George’s county native. My interest  in Culinary Arts started in 2010 at Eleanor Roosevelt HS,Greenbelt, MD, during “International Cuisine” Class. My passion for culinary arts and hospitality peaked, as I delved deeper into the industry, and decided that after graduation(2011), I would attend Prince George’s Community College for their fairly new Hospitality Program. As the time approached for me to transfer to university, I decided on the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland. While in this program I attended business, hospitality, and culinary arts classes, which then transitioned into hosting and running weekly events for the university. We learned how to properly compose a menu, food plating, selecting vendors, the whole 9! As exhilarating as it was, the time flew and I took what I learned and applied to jobs in the industry back home. After college, I worked for  various brands like Chick-Fil-A, Nando's Peri Peri, along with working as an Executive Chef at West Virginia University. ❤️
